• Share sightings and updates: Keep fellow members informed about your orca encounters and sightings.

• Ask questions and get expert advice: Our groups include experienced sailors and orca experts who can answer your questions and provide valuable insights.

• Discuss conservation efforts: Share ideas, learn about ongoing projects, and participate in discussions about orca conservation.

• Connect with a global community: Interact with fellow orca enthusiasts from  around the world who share your passion (and are also members of orcas.pt).

Joining the orcas.pt Community:

If you are not yet a member of orcas.pt, you can sign up for a free membership today! This grants you access to our valuable resources and our exclusive Telegram groups.

1. Sign Up: 

• Create your free account here. You will be asked for some basic information. We kindly request that you provide accurate and up-to-date details to ensure your membership is approved

2. Verify via Telegram: 

• Once registered, visit our Assistant Bot. Send a message with your name and boat name so we can verify your identity.

3. Select Your Groups: 

• Go to the Members Area and select the specific groups you wish to join.

4. Admin Approval: 

• An administrator will review your details. Once verified, you will be granted access to your selected groups.

Group Guidelines:

• Be Respectful: Treat all members with courtesy and respect. Healthy debate is welcome, but personal attacks are not.

• Stay on Topic: Keep discussions focused on orcas, marine conservation, and responsible interactions at sea.

• No Spam or Promotions: This is a space for genuine community exchange. Please do not post commercial products, services, or unsolicited advertisements.

• Report Concerns: If you encounter offensive, inappropriate, or irrelevant content, please report it immediately to the group administrators.

• Protect Privacy: Please do not share private group information or member details outside of the orcas.pt community.
