We believe that this interaction has already been reported by the coastguard! But we would like to share some details. It was very dark at night when something hit our boat. This happened 3 times. We were motorsailing and reacted by going full speed by motor. It stopped but after a longer while we think something hit again. however, it was dark and impossible to recognize anything, it was strong winds and waves and also impossible to hear any other sound. We were very sure it was not the waves hitting our boat as they came from behind/port side and we were hit on starboard, near the sonar. We were handsteering and our rudder was not notably affected. We sail and Amel Sharki, a heavy 10 ton boat we a large keel and a full skeg on the rudder.
